Akashi White Oak Single Malt Ariake Virgin Cask Oloroso Sherry Cash 5 Years 500ml

This single malt from Akashi White Oak was stored for 5 years in new American white oak barrels. The barrels come from the only Japanese producer Ariake Sangyo, who builds barrels based on the Western model. At the end of the 5 years, this single malt got another finish in Oloroso sherry barrels. Smell of dark cherries, orange marmalade and some redcurrant. Intense taste of sherry, cherries, oranges and sweet tea on the palate. Pleasant sweetish finish with raisins, tea and oranges.
