Chateau Latour Martillac Blanc 2018 750ml

$74.40 including GST

Description

The colour is pale yellow with green highlights. The nose is beautiful, with citrus (lemon), summer (peach), and crisp hazelnut notes. This wine has a fantastic taste sensation. With its rich fruit smells that are round and silky. A finish that is incredibly fresh and energetic.

The estate takes its name from the tower which stands in the main courtyard of the château; it is the remnant of a fort built in the 12th century by the ancestors of Montesquieu. The structure occupied a strategic position and controlled the route between Bordeaux and Toulouse. The stones of the fort were used to build the existing château at the end of the 18th century.

Each year, the greatest lots from the best parcels are picked to combine into the first wines for both red and white wines. This meticulous selection is guided by Loc Kressmann and winemaker, Valérie Vialard, with the assistance of one of Bordeaux’s most famous consultants, Professor Denis Dubourdieu.
