The L’Ouverture is creamy and generous, with excellent textural richness. The complexity of Pinot shines through in this open-knit, captivating Champagne. Red cherry, plum, spice, and pastry notes are prominent. The early energy fades toward the end, but the Ouverture is generally quite well done. This release is a hybrid of 2016, 2015, and 2014.
