The wine is an intense crimson with a captivating scent of clearly defined and precise fruit, accented by mineral notes that tie the wine to its terroir. The rich and delicate attack is followed by a fresh, thick, and silky mid-palate on chiseled tannins, and an incredibly lengthy finish. A balanced and dynamic wine that was a huge success.

The story begins at the turn of the 18th century. The north of the Médoc peninsular offered exciting investment opportunities for the time’s high society, and Jean-François de Pontet was among the aristocrats and high-ranking magistrates who defined the new Médoc’s enormous horizons.
