The Glenlivet distillery in Moray, Scotland, manufactures single malt Scotch whisky. It is the oldest licensed distillery in the Glenlivet parish and the source of the same-named Scottish whisky. The distillery is now controlled by the French alcoholic beverage corporation Pernod Ricard, which oversees its annual output of 5,900,000 proof liters. The majority of this, enough for 6 million bottles, is sold as The Glenlivet single malt, with the rest utilized in Pernod Ricard’s blended whisky brands.
