Deep purple with red undertones. Blueberry and red plums with chocolate and vanilla black berry jam that is juicy and has a hint of toasted wood and thick, powdery tannins.

The best Shiraz parcels were picked following thorough vineyard assessments and the winemaking team’s painstaking attention to detail. The excellent Shiraz fruit flavours on these parcels were intensely varietal in nature. Most of the fruit came from South Australian wine regions. This Shiraz grapes were able to attain full maturity thanks to the seasonal conditions. This gave the winemaking team the best fruit they could use to create a variety of full-bodied, generous wines with gentle, balanced tannins and rich, round flavours. In a combination of static and rotational fermenters, fermentation lasted for ten to fifteen days.

The George Wyndham BIN 555 Shiraz has benefited from meticulous cap management procedures and temperature control in order to exhibit the softness and rich flavor for which it is recognized, along with excellent drinkability. Prior to blending and bottling, selected wine parcels were aged for 12 to 15 months in a variety of American and French oak hogsheads.
