Nikka Whisky, founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, is known for its workmanship and devotion to traditional processes. The company has two distilleries: Yoichi and Miyagikyo.

The Nikka Yoichi Heavily Peated, debuted in September 2015 with just 3,000 bottles manufactured, concentrates on peat and demonstrates the powerful essence of the Yoichi Distillery through its robust flavours.
