Vieux Chateau Certan Pomerol 2018 750ml

It's colour ranges from medium to deep garnet-purple, with a very vibrant quality. It effortlessly floats out of the glass with scents of black raspberries, baked plums, molten licorice, and mulberries, along with hints of cigar box, cinnamon stick, tapenade, and truffles. The scents are wonderfully intense and beautifully delineated.

It is full-bodied, rich, tightly packed, and reveals layer upon layer of red and black fruits with a remarkable array of floral and spicy sparks. It also has a high degree of extremely fine, silky soft tannins that are really ripe, and it has wonderful freshness from bright, crunchy fruit in addition to acid. It has an incredibly lengthy, masterfully layered finish that is nearly electric due to the fruit's astounding brightness. Amazing!
