Bright garnet crimson with purple highlights. Violet flowers, ripe red fruit, rose hips, rock candy, and dried fruit all add to the aroma. The palate is complex and mouth-filling, with a subtle sweetness on the assault. Ripe red wildberries, spicy notes, and magnificent roasted tastes. Fine-grained tannins and a juicy, delicate acidity characterize this skillfully built wine. There is a lot of grace and length in the finish. Barolo Bussia DOCG is produced from the magnificent amphitheater-shaped vineyard in the Bussia Monforte d'Alba area. Prunotto originally produced this historic wine as a single vineyard wine in 1961. The vineyard's diverse south to southwest exposure, as well as traditional aging in big barrels, enhance the balance and complexity of the Nebbiolo grape.
