Les Forts De Latour 04 750ml

Beautiful, sensual, pure fruit on the aroma serves as an introduction to a palate full of flavours, including blueberry, Victoria plum, and fresh blackcurrant, all of which are bolstered by savoury spices. Older vines and balanced yields frequently provide a depth that gives the impression of a well-knit wine with layered fruit. It has a smooth and colourful feel. The result is a pauillac with a rich, delicious character. Les Forts has a higher percentage of Merlot than the grand vin. Excellent Les Forts.

The second wine produced by the estate keeps becoming better. A deeper ruby/purple color, typical evolved cedary, lead pencil, and cassis characteristics, a medium body, lovely fruit richness, and a more forward, evolved character than its big sibling are all revealed by the 2004 Forts de Latour, which contains 75% Cabernet Sauvignon. Savour it for the next fifteen or more years.
