This Torrontés captures the essence of high-altitude wines from the Cachaquí Valleys, showcasing freshness, aroma, and elegance. Intense aromas of citrus and floral notes blend beautifully, whilst the palate reveals a light, fresh, and beautifully balanced character. Karim's vision centres on distinctive terroir expression. Abras marks the beginning of an ambitious journey that started when he discovered Cafayate—a high-elevation desert in Salta at 1,700 metres above sea level, the birthplace of Torrontés and exceptional Malbec. The winery sources fruit from vines exceeding 50 years of age, grown on alluvial soils near the valley floor, yielding mineral-driven and authentic expressions. The name Abras references the mountain passes the Incas traversed to explore the Andes, serving as a gateway to the Cachaquí Valley's wine heritage.
