This is the native white grape varietal that best represents the Roero terroir. The grapes grow in sandy soil, reminiscent of the old seafloor and still replete with fossil shells today. This riches is portrayed through powerful mineral tones. This single-grape Arneis can age for years, becoming more elegant and aristocratic as it matures.
