A refined, medium to full-bodied Chardonnay with lively acidity and impressive complexity. Rich spice, mineral, and citrus notes lead to a well-balanced palate with excellent texture and length. This wine will develop beautifully over many years. Bindi was founded in 1988 by Bill Dhillon near Gisborne, Victoria. The winery specialises in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, varieties suited to the region's cool climate. The quartz-rich vineyard soil imparts distinctive mineral characteristics to the wines. Under winemaker Michael Dhillon's stewardship since 1998, Bindi has earned recognition for producing world-class wines, including Original Vineyard Pinot Noir, which features in Langton's Classification of Australian Wines.
