True to their Finnish history, we do everything the hard way; despite being the most difficult grain to distill, they exclusively use 100% whole-grain rye. In addition to the powerful flavor of Finnish rye, award-winning gins incorporate local wild botanicals foraged just outside the distillery, which contribute to the distinct and identifiable flavor.

The fundamental components are strongly ingrained in Finnish nature. The warm spice of rye is mixed with twelve dry and four freshly distilled botanicals to create a distinct local flavour. The nose is herbal and sweet, with meadowsweet essential oils and delicate citrus notes. Full-bodied herbal flavor that ends with hints of pepper and rye on the tongue.

This rye-based Napue gin features locally foraged fresh botanicals such as sea buckthorn, cranberries, and birch leaves. An early morning, misty Finnish meadow has a particular scent and flavour that is readily recognized. Napue gin was named “The World’s Best Gin for Gin & Tonic” by the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) in 2015, and in 2016, it won the gold medal in the San Francisco World Spirit Competition premium gin series.
