Description


This wine underwent partial whole bunch fermentation and was matured for 18 months in French oak, 35% of which was new. Displaying a totally opaque midnight black dark red colour with deep dark red-black tinged hue. Dark plummy cherry scents intermix with nail polish-like characters, with some vanillin oak also apparent. The palate, seemingly stripped of its primary fruit, finishes dry and hard with sharp volatile acidity. Chewy tannins and a short aftertaste.
