Magnum Bottle – 1.5L

Deep ruby red colour. The nose opens with notes of black cherries, red plums, strawberries, and dried fruit. The full-bodied palate offers a silky texture, superb structure, and a little acidity. Juicy black cherry and red plum flavours with undertones of dried figs, rum pot, coffee, liquorice, and baking spices. Closes with a grand and noble finish.

The king of baby Amarone. Once the dried grapes for the winery’s Amarone have finished fermenting, a top selection of Valpolicella grapes “passes over” (ripassa) the Amarone pomace, resulting in a second brief fermentation.

It is aged in French oak tonneaux for 18/20 months before being rested in the bottle for 6 months. This method yields a refined and concentrated wine that is incredibly delicate and silky, with powerful aromas of tiny red fruits.
