Reddish-purple that leans more toward a strong purple with garnet reflections and an aged appearance. A crisp wine with wonderful aromas that blend notes of red fruits including blueberry, currant, and wild blackberry. With age, this wine develops an earthy flavour and a hint of minerality that is reminiscent of graphite. A wine that is formidable due to its acidity and commanding tannins, as well as its strong and rich flavour. Fruit and minerals work together to create a flavour that is both robust and substantial. A wine that is persistent and well-balanced. It goes well with fatty fish, grilled meats, roasts, mixed cooked meats, and medium-aged cheeses.

The title Oseleta was written as “Oz” on the first 2001 label. While the “Z” hinted at Zm, the “O” was the first letter of the vine’s name and recalled the shape of a grape. The second letter of the vine, “Oseleta,” which is spelled with a “s” but pronounced with a “z,” was also suggested at the same time. The 2008 label has the full name “Oseleta” since the quality goal that Zm had set was met using the knowledge learned from the prior harvests.
