Tenuta San Jacopo Caprilius 2016 750ml

Cavriglia, a community of Roman origins that was formerly home to goats and shepherds, was formerly known by the name Caprilius. This wine is devoted to this location; it is the result of a vine that found a suitable location in Valdarno to produce a distinctive wine.

Made entirely of Montepulciano, this gorgeous wine is incredibly rich and succulent in the Tuscan style. Spice, red fruits, and balsamic aromas are detected in the aroma. It has an excellent body, delicate but pleasing tannins, and a rich, refined taste.
