Altocedro Reserve Malbec 2019 750ml

This Malbec was designed to be the "paragon" of La Consulta, allowing us to communicate the region's individuality while preserving a winemaking style that reflects both the varietal's typicity and the history of this area. To do so, we have always sourced from the same three old, historic, and pre-phylloxera vineyards, preserving the qualitative and geographical DNA that we hope to reflect in this Malbec. Despite its classic character, it consistently presents as a sophisticated and balanced wine that retains its freshness and elegance as it matures in the bottle.

Altocedro is a terroir-driven winery in La Consulta, a unique location in the Uco Valley known for producing high-quality grapes from ancient vines. Since 1998, we have been producing wine that speaks clearly of its provenance, focusing on balance, elegance, and age ability. Karim Mussi was the first pilgrim to La Consulta, positioning the region through its "born and raised" wines, which were envisioned to be the "paragon" of the Uco Valley. Altocedro's Año Cero 100% varietals brand boasts a modern style and is known for its fresh and fruity expression.
