The Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt Sherry Wood Finish Japanese whisky has no age declaration and is made out of malt whiskies from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. This special edition has a sherry oak finish, which adds aromas of spice and dried fruit to the Taketsuru’s rich, nuanced character.

Masataka Taketsuru founded Nikka Whisky and was recognized as the “Father of Japanese Whisky.” Taketsuru, a well-known authority figure in Japanese whisky, traveled to Scotland to study chemistry and whisky production before returning to Japan and starting his company. These Taketsuru pure malts are a tribute to the creator.
