Château Lynch Bages, located at the entrance to Pauillac, is an estate with a rich history in the Médoc wine region. Bages’ terroir has been known since the 16th century, but it was not recognized until the 18th century. The Bages wine was recognized during the Universal Exhibition in Paris, under the leadership of Thomas Lynch, the son of an Irish citizen. Château Lynch-Bages joined the J-M Cazes family on the eve of WWII and is one of the best references among outstanding Pauillac wines.
