A medium-bodied palate featuring crimson and black fruit. Layers of spice, dark plum, cassis, and berry fruit grace the palate, all kept together by excellent tannins. Smooth and tasty. If there was ever a food-friendly red, this is it! This deceptively light-bodied wine pairs well with both a cheese and charcuterie board and a warm home-cooked meal, such as spaghetti bolognaise, lamb cutlets, or braised rabbit served with tomato and olives.

The Butchers Block Red, named after our family’s initial usage of the building that now houses our Cellar Door, is a structured, fruit-forward, medium-bodied wine. A crowd-pleasing wine with outstanding value.
