Deep ruby-black with lighter-colored edges and a little tinge of garnet. Blueberry, blackcurrant, mint, and lavender scents. Full-bodied, with vibrant blackberry and mulberry fruit flavors combined with delicate French oak. A rich, chewy palate is provided by fine-grained tannins, while lively acidity adds roundness. The patient will continue to receive benefits from it for the next ten years, and it is currently ready to drink.

Fruit is harvested at the peak of ripeness from the estate’s Biscay Road Vineyard. Every precaution was taken once the wine was in the winery during the fermentation process to allow the wine the most time possible on the skins to extract the depth of flavor and color that this wine exhibits. Before being bottled, the wine is matured in both fresh and used American oak.
