Vina Almaviva 2020, signed by the estates Philip de Rotschild, is now one of Chile’s top wines. This outstanding wine has a wonderful balance, as well as freshness and structure. We notice ripe and covered tannins in the middle of the mouth, along with vanilla and dark chocolate notes. The progression in the mouth is wonderfully balanced, with a little acidity and a long and harmonious finish. This is the outcome of a Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot mix.

Almaviva is the magnificent outcome of a collaboration between two famous wine houses, Baroness Philippine de Rotschild and Don Alfonso Larran de Concha y Toro, with the goal of developing a Franco-Chilean wine. The diversity and distinctiveness of Chile’s terroirs have enabled the production of wines in remarkable climatic conditions, relying on France’s particular know-how gained through its pursuit of elegance and enduring traditions.
