Matured for 12 months, 40% in French oak barrels from one or two previous wines. Château Cap de Faugères’ 2018 vintage offers abundance of fresh fruit due to harvest homogeneity and remarkable maturity. This is a really delightful wine, with aromas of dark fruits and spices and a strong tannic structure. This is possibly the property’s greatest success to yet!

Château Cap de Faugères is one of Silvio Denz’s vineyard estates, and he has been one of Bordeaux’s most dynamic winegrowers in recent years. The Château Cap de Faugères estate, located in the small appellation of Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, is noted for its wines’ quality/price ratio. It has a 46-hectare vineyard planted in a lovely clay-limestone soil along the Saint-Émilion plateau, east of Bordeaux.
