Description

A extremely dark colour with beautiful tiled reflections is visible in the glass. Black fruits, blackberries, and blackcurrant, as well as a hint of fireplace, pepper, and melting wood notes, can all be found in the nose, which also blends force and elegance. The wine is balanced and supported by finely chiseled tannins thanks to the rich and round attack. It displays freshness and complexity as its aromas, which have notes of ripe fruit and toasted cocoa, reach a crescendo. Exact, protracted, and peppery describe the finish.

The Château Duhart-Milon, which is situated in the center of the Pauillac vineyard, owes its creation to Sieur Duhart, a retired corsair of Louis XV who established himself at the city’s harbor. The wines of Milon, which are now regarded as Second wines, have been given as an annuity to the lord of Lafite since the seventeenth century.

During the renowned classification of 1855 for the World Fair in Paris, the Château Duhart-Milon will be ranked as the Fourth Grand Cru Classé.

The Domaines Baron de Rothschild, who were in charge of its famed neighbor, Château Lafite Rothschild, bought it in 1962.
