Les Griffons de Pichon Baron is one of the property’s second wines. It was created in 2012 and has a pure and direct character. The grapes used in this wine’s combination are sourced mostly from gravelly plots of land near the Gironde estuary, which is ideal for Cabernet-Sauvignon. Les Griffons provides a strong and fresh tasting experience, full-bodied and clean, with plenty of energy. It can be stored in the cellar for more than 20 years or consumed immediately.

Les Griffons de Pichon Baron 2020 exhibits a deep purple hue. The nose is delicate, with notes of black fruit, mild wood, tobacco, and cedar. The big palate is fruit-forward and well-structured, with plenty of tannins. The finish is long and strong, with notes of blueberry and black cherry. This wine is well-balanced, rich, and harmonious, with a vibrant freshness. A traditional cuvée, typical of Pauillac.
