The 2018 Leoville Barton has a deep garnet-purple colour with a simple, fruity bouquet that includes crushed black cherries, blackcurrant cordial, and wild blueberries. There are also hints of violet, dark chocolate, cardamom, and allspice, along with a hint of stewed tea. With a considerable amount of fresh fruit and a robust, ripe, and gritty tannic structure, the fruit is full-bodied, rich, and incredibly fruity in the mouth. It finishes long and layered.
