Roland Lavantureux Petit Chablis 2021 750ml

$50.40 including GST

Description

Fresh golden colour, smoky notes of bacon and graphite, very pure palate, lots of fruit, and a lengthy finish.

The domaine was established in 1978 by Roland Lavantureux in the village of Lignorelles, four miles northwest of Chablis. Today, his two sons have taken over the Domaine: David is in charge of marketing and sales while Arnaud is in control of the vineyards and cellar. In addition to producing a stunning Chablis, the Lavantureux family also produces a mouthwatering Petit Chablis that, depending on the vintage, can easily compete with their more highly regarded bottling. This only serves to highlight the Lavantureux family’s unwavering reliability, which has helped to maintain our relationship with them for more than 35 years.

The wines from Lavantureux exhibit show-stopping nerve and may be drunk both before dinner and with grilled fish or oysters on the half-shell. These wines are perennial staff favourites because they taste as truthful as the folks who create them.
