It develops fresh stone fruit scents (cherry, Morello cherry, and raspberry) on the nose. It has a nice length and is heavy in tannins in the mouth. A cuvée with structure, size, and silkiness. Combine well with beef steaks, quality charcuterie, raw ham, pies, and terrines. Additionally, it like soft cheeses like Reblochon, Brie de Meaux, and Camembert.

The Chofflet estate is situated in the town of Givry’s Russilly hamlet. It is the balcony of the Côte Chalonnaise, a true amphitheater facing the morning sun, from which you can easily see Mont Blanc.

The Domaine, which had been passed down for the previous two generations from son-in-law to son-in-law, saw Jonathan Brunot succeed Denis Valdenaire in 2019. This time, the domain reverted to its previous name, Domaine Chofflet.
