This wine has an aromatic expression of citrus, apple, pear with aromas of almonds in the background. Fresh, fruity and lively attack, with lemon notes, followed by pear and almonds.

In Burgundy, every community has its own locomotive, its main engine, and its star producer. Those who are well-known take center stage. Others operate behind the scenes, are more subdued, set an example, and are more restrained. We may have never seen a better example of the latter than Jean-Baptiste Ponsot in Rully.

Rully produces twice as much white as red in the Cote Chalonnaise. However, it has soils suitable for both. Rully is home to premier crus and village appellation vineyards that produce excellent Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.
