A rich reddish-purple wine. A wine that is elegantly balanced and has a rich flavour, well-defined soft, velvety tannins, and a nice acidity. The aftertaste of fruit and berries is delicate and hardy. During the aeration process, the initial fragrances of banana and vanilla accompanied the hues of red fruits and berries, tobacco, leather, and oriental spices. Red and white meat dishes, as well as mature cheeses, are frequently eaten with wine.

The wine was produced for the first time in 1997 and received the Gambero Rosso “three glasses” classification right away in Italy. Since then, “Cournot” has maintained excellent rankings in both the national and international wine rankings.
