A really fresh and well-balanced Amarone here, with tapenade, ripe but fresh blackberries, spicy chocolate, and some red berries as well. This is tight and juicy, with a medium-to-full-bodied palate and a lengthy, fruity finish. A modern, fresh version of Amarone that is extremely drinkable while remaining rather serious. Not overly concentrated, yet demonstrates restraint and balance. Drink or hold.
