I finally achieved my goal for this wine, which I had set out to achieve for the past 12 years of “Val”: to express the blend and the traditional Valpolicella Superiore method to their fullest potential with the 2018 harvest. I am now prepared to complete the name Valpolicella on the label as a result of this fresh insight. a unique identity for an individual’s interpretation of Ripasso, where each component’s worth affects the composition as a whole.

Simply put: ‘Naturally excellent’

A medium ruby colour that, as it ages, tends toward garnet. notes of semi-dried plum, morello cherry, and cherry. Smooth and alluring, it leaves the palate with notes of rich fruit and spice, along with an enticing sapidity. Ideal to combine with lighter meats, soups, medium-aged cheeses, and cold cuts.
