Kirin, the mammoth beverage maker that most people associate with beer, also makes whisky. Their distillery stands at the foot of Mt. Fuji. This is a blended whisky for from the less known Fuji Gotemba. Caramel and slightly spicy with notes of pepper and nutmeg. Dried apricots in the background.
