Deanston Virgin Oak Un-Chill Filtered 700ml

This lovely malt is aged in ex-bourbon casks from a family-run cooperage in Kentucky, giving it a delightful zesty flavour. The whisky is then finished in new oak barrels, which impart mild spicy flavours.

Heady virgin oak brimming with lemon zest and sweet barley sugar, with apple and nutmeg flavours. On the taste, a lovely richness reminiscent of candied fruits and vanilla toffee is complemented with heather honey. Finish with a pleasant burst of honeyed malt and sweet oakiness, followed by a satisfying burst of subtle spice.
