This brand-new Glen Scotia version was brewed solely from unpeated barley and aged for ten years in ex-bourbon American oak casks. The distillery’s location by the sea lends the scent a nautical flavour, with sea-spray saltiness. Sweet apple, brown sugar, and mellow spices are joined by a crème caramel/vanilla tone from the wood. This is an excellent introduction to one of Scotland’s most renowned distilleries.
