Hendrick’s Orbium is a quininated gin since it was distilled with quinine, wormwood, and blue lotus blossom extracts. Orbium, created by the famed master distiller Lesley Gracie, is distilled in batches of 500 litres and uses the same base distillates as Hendrick’s.

Orbium is derived from the term ‘orb,’ which is the plural of Orbis and Latin for circle. This round emblem, according to Gracie, represents the rounded aspect of the gin, and the ‘all seeing eye’ on the bottle design echoes this notion.
