One of the great red wines of the Rioja region, it is complex and elegant. Ripe red fruits mingle with hints of tobacco and coconut in this persistent and  intense Spanish specimen.

A tangible illustration of the elegance, stability, and regularity that distinguish Marqués de Murrieta winery. This wine reflects the Ygay Estate’s outstanding individuality and properly highlights what happens during the vegetative cycle.

It’s created from tempranillo, mazuelo, Graciano, and garnacha. Each type contributes its own personality to the finished wine, which is balanced following barrel ageing.

Plum, blueberry, and redcurrant scents led to a bed of spices, florals, and balsamic notes that are unique to our Ygay Estate. The mouthfeel is succulent, round, and balanced. A powerful wine with huge potential. Perfect with red tuna grilled with viura shoots, bittersweet piquillo pepper and soya, roasted onion; Galician blond beef tail in cannelloni of fine baked potato and red wine; vine shoots grilled turbot, its collagen in olive, rosemary, and spicy hint; sugar-neutral tart with blue cheese and burrata.
