Jim Beam Devil’s Cut is a fantastic new bourbon experience. Jim Beam’s experienced distillers have created a procedure that extracts the rich whiskey contained inside the barrel’s wood after it has been emptied. They then wait for this barrel-treated extract to establish the right balance before blending it with 6-year-old Bourbon and bottling it at 90 proof (45% alcohol by volume). The resulting Bourbon is a strong, premium whiskey with a deep colour, aroma, and character.

The distillers designed Jim Beam Devil’s Cut to be consumed neat, on the rocks, as a shot, or combined with cola.

All outstanding bourbons have a magical quality, a sense of mystery. As bourbon ages and matures, some of it evaporates from the barrel. Many believe it is angels claiming their dues, which is why it is known as the Angel’s Share gone forever. When the bourbon is aged and poured from the barrel, some liquid remains trapped deep inside the wood. This is the Devil’s Cut. Jim Beam created history by extracting it. They utilize a patented procedure to extract the rich bourbon locked in the barrel wood. When the liquid is ready, it is blended with extra-aged bourbon and bottled at 90 proof (45% vol.) to produce a powerful, premium bourbon with deep colour, aroma, and character.
