This wine has a deep ruby colour and is medium to full-bodied, with notes of forest floor, cassis, black cherry, and dirt in the tastes and smells.

An elegant Bordeaux mix that displays Cabernet Sauvignon’s subtlety without being cocky. Delicious cassis fruit and fine-grained tannins complement the wine’s intense dark fruit on the palate, which is exquisitely crisp. It has a long-lasting finish with leafy accents and beautiful cedary oak. Many vintages of this wine, including 1947, 1953, and 1982, still show remarkable characteristics of youth, demonstrating its exceptional capacity to age. Decanting this wine for at least two hours prior to serving is advised.
