The perfume is characterized by red cherries, raspberries, and violets, with hints of dried herbs and mycelium. The flavour is rich, with faint but detectable tannins that indicate a strong potential for short-term storage. The wine pairs perfectly with basic pasta with mushrooms or ragout, as well as veal or beef carpaccio with parmesan and rocket. It will also pair well with grilled sausages, soft cheeses with white mold, and Piedmont specialties like vitello tonnato.

Langhe Nebbiolo from the renowned Produttori del Barbaresco cooperative is an excellent introduction to Nebbiolo from the Barbaresco appellation. Compared to the warmer 2022 vintage, the 2023 vintage is more fresh, with lovely fruitiness and vibrant acidity.
