Neil Ellis Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 750ml

The Cabernet Sauvignon from Neil Ellis is a pure, wonderful and multi-faceted red wine from the South African wine-growing region of Stellenbosch.

In the glass this wine has a beautiful cherry red with purple highlights. In the nose a wonderfully fruity aroma unfolds – especially currants, blackberries and plums come to the fore – accompanied by fine hints of pepper and mint. The strong, opulent, ripe but at the same time young palate unfolds a plum-like fruit, underpinned by notes of new oak and delicate tannins. The finish has a beautiful length and a subtle oak spice.
