Blanton’s Gold is sold in conjunction with Blanton’s Original Single Barrel.

This bourbon is created with a sour mash of corn, rye, and malted barley before aging in American White Oak casks for outstanding smoothness and a clear finish. Honey, rye, dried fruits, vanilla, and chocolate dominate the nose, which is strong and dry. The palate is thick and creamy, with flavours of apricot, butter, pepper, honey, and wood. The finish is lengthy, beginning with toffee apples and progressing to pecan and caramel.

Blanton’s bourbon was named after one of the distillery’s early leaders, Albert B. Blanton, who the company claims devoted the majority of his life upholding the handcrafted bourbon legacy. Blanton spent nearly 55 years at the property that is now known as the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
