Michter’s US*1 Single Barrel Straight Rye Bourbon 700ml

Michter’s, which began by producing rye whisky in 1753, is the country’s first distillery. Every barrel is produced employing a Cost Be Damned philosophy, and they employ a variety of techniques, such as air drying their barrels for 36 months, toasting them before charring them, using a low barrel-entry strength, and heat cycling to promote ageing throughout the winter.

On the palate, it is peppery and spicy with undertones of citrus, butterscotch, and oak, all of which help to smooth out the flavour.
