Ardmore Portwood 12 Years 700ml

A ‘double casked’ Ardmore, this one aged in half port pipes from Europe and two bourbon barrels, giving it a mild, sweet taste balanced by hints of fruit and smoke. arrives without chill filter.

This single malt was released in 2015 and is included in the Ardmore collection. First matured in American white oak bourbon barrels, it was subsequently completed in port pipes. The whisky has a wine-like sweetness from its time in the Port pipes, with hints of lush grape and flamed orange peel.
