Dr. Bill, the director of whisky creation, possessed an adventurous spirit from birth. And he aimed to make a single malt that was as unpredictable as his travels with this one.

Quinta Ruban is a whisky excursion into the wild; it takes you through a deliciously smoky woodland where peppermint-scented wind gusts and unexpectedly dark chocolate swirls can occur.

It starts out light and fruity in their giraffe-high stills before becoming darker and richer after spending 14 years ageing in Portuguese port casks and Bourbon barrels.

A tangle of luscious taste harmonies makes up the finished whisky. both black pepper and walnut. Mandarin orange and marshmallow that have melted mint candy and a bar of dark chocolate.

The trip is as exquisite as the destination, like entering into a chocolate-mint-orange unknown.
