This is this distillery’s benchmark dram, a famed smoky Islay malt. Aged for at least 16 years in oak casks, it has a nose full of rich sweetness and powerful peat smoke, followed by a taste full of sherry, fruit, and smoke, ending with a lengthy, spicy finish that is balanced by enticing sweetness.
