Quite gentle at first, with clean, fresh notes and traces of milk chocolate and lemon, it grows into an aromatic, tea-scented smoke with nose-drying, nautical smells. Body is light and becoming deliciously oily.  A fantastically full-on Lagavulin flavor that is somehow even bigger than you imagine, burned, and paired with minty, black chocolate. The finish is clean, lengthy, and smokey—mild, minty smoke, cocoa tannins, and finally warming, leaving the palate dry as sweet smoke lingers on the breath.

Diageo, a multinational beverage alcohol business headquartered in London, owns Lagavulin. It was once offered as part of the discontinued Classic Malts brand of single malts.
