An award-winning whisky with great sweetness and warmth, intermingled with only a thread of smoke. Rich and gentle but nevertheless assertive. Elegant with remarkable balance between smoke and mild sweet fruit. Ever evolving in the glass and on the palate. Gentle waves of taste, wonderful balance and a characteristic peppery finish. Seamless.

Rich and juicy Victoria plums, greengages, perhaps dried orange peel with some butterscotch or rum toffee and a thread of smoke behind. Full bodied, nice and smooth. Sweet in front, then more assertive, with a whiff of smoke. The overall effect is warming. The development is towards smoke, coal-tar and toffee. Medium length with the characteristic chilli’ catch’ in the finish.
